Locality: Brazil

  1. Color: Cheetah Agate is a type of agate known for its striking appearance resembling the spots of a cheetah.

  2. Hardness: Agate has a hardness of around 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, making it relatively durable and suitable for use in jewelry and decorative items. However, the hardness can vary slightly depending on the specific composition and structure of the agate.

  3. Clarity: Agate is typically translucent to opaque, with varying degrees of clarity depending on the specific specimen. Some agates may have more transparent areas, while others may be completely opaque.

  4. Luster: Agate often exhibits a waxy to vitreous luster, meaning it can have a somewhat shiny appearance. The luster can vary depending on the surface finish and the presence of any impurities or inclusions.

  5. Density: The density of agate can vary depending on factors such as its composition and porosity. On average, agate has a density ranging from about 2.58 to 2.64 grams per cubic centimeter.

  6. Metaphysical Properties: Like other types of agate, Cheetah Agate is said to promote balance and harmony within the body, mind, and spirit. It may help to bring equilibrium to chaotic situations and foster a sense of peace.
